Recycle Your Holiday Lights!
Posted on Jan 2nd, 2024
As you set up your holiday decorations, you might come across some broken holiday lights. Instead of throwing them away, consider recycling them. This way, they can still be put to good use. In addition, you can also recycle your natural holiday trees, wreaths, and garlands. Before doing so, get in touch with your trash hauler to see if they provide curbside pickup.
Not all recycling centers take broken lights, but you can find a location closest to you that does. Natural holiday trees and greenery are accepted for free recycling. Be sure to remove all decorations such as lights, ornaments, garland, tinsel, etc., as well as stands and plastic bags.
