City of Shawnee Coronavirus Concerns

The City of Shawnee is taking several steps in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that is bringing sweeping changes across the nation. We appreciate your patience as this is an unprecedented situation. Your safety is, as always, our highest priority.

City Facilities
The following City facilities will be closed through Friday, April 3, 2020.
Shawnee City Hall at 11110 Johnson Drive
Shawnee Civic Centre at 13817 Johnson Drive
Shawnee Town 1929 Museum at 11501 West 57th Street
Shawnee Town 1929 Town Hall at 11600 Johnson Drive
All Shawnee Fire Stations (The Fire Department will be answering emergency calls as normal. This change is only shutting down public access to the buildings.)
In order to provide you the highest level of service possible and because of limited and remote staffing, we would prefer to accommodate you over the phone, online or by appointment only. Please call (913) 631-2500 or e-mail us if you have questions.
Parks and Recreation
All Parks and Recreation programs and activities will be cancelled through Friday, April 3, 2020.
If you are registered for a program, activity or class anytime up until Friday, April 3, 2020, we will be issuing a refund or offering to place a credit on your household account that you can use in the future.
If you have a rental anytime up until Friday, April 3, 2020, we will work with you to reschedule, provide a credit for a future rental or a full refund.

Municipal Court
The Shawnee Municipal Court is rescheduling court dockets through Friday, April 3, 2020. All walk-in dockets are also cancelled at this time. Please click here for full details about the docket changes.
If you need to make a payment, we are encouraging you to make that payment online or via the drop box that is outside the front doors of the Municipal Court. If you have any questions, please call (913) 742-6003.
